The iron horse racer from Monster Energy Yamaha won pole position in the Mandalika MotoGP qualifying session on Saturday 19 March 2022.
This French racer managed to carve the fastest time of 1 minute 31.067 seconds. Fabio Quartararo managed to outperform the Pramac Ducati duo, Jorge Martin who scored 1 minute 31.280 seconds and Johann Zarco who recorded 1 minute 31.378 seconds.

Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati Lenovo is only in 6th position on the starting grid with a time difference of 0.440 seconds.
While the Repsol Honda racer Marc Marquez will start from 15th position.
