There is no longer any tension in Wadas Village between the people who are for and against mining.

At a number of points, officers, mostly female police officers, were seen on guard and mingling with the community. Looks different from Wadas' situation the day before.

"There are no thousands of police officers who have entered the village, only 250 people we have assigned to assist the BPN team in carrying out measurements. The decrease in personnel is also at the request of residents who have agreed and requested that their land be immediately measured and escorted," said Luthfi at a press conference related to Wadas at the Police Headquarters. Purworejo, Wednesday 9 February 2022.

According to Luthfi, all police officers on duty carry out according to standard operating procedures (SOP).

The officers did not arrest the contra citizens. What happened was that there was friction in contact between the pros and cons, so the officers took security measures.***
