On National Press Day, Police Chief: Journalists Are Not Partners But Friends

WartaBulukumba - An interesting statement was made by the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General of Police Fadil Imran.

The Metro Jaya Police Chief expressed his views on the media crew. According to him, journalists "are not just partners, but friends".

The Kapolda Metro Jaya together with the Indonesian Police Journalists Forum (FWP) celebrate the 76th National Press Day (HPN) at the Polda Metro Jaya on Tuesday morning, February 8, 2022.

"Happy 76th National Press Day. This is not a young age anymore. Hopefully with a mature age, members of the press, especially friends of the National Police Journalists Forum, will be more professional, more critical, and objective in reporting matters related to with Polda Metro Jaya," Fadil told reporters at Polda Metro Jaya.

"I fully understand that Polda Metro Jaya journalists are not only partners, but friends for me. Don't get tired of giving criticism, I will face everything for introspection," he added.

Reported by WartaBulukumba.com from PMJ News on Tuesday 8 February 2022, the Metro Jaya Police Chief also spoke about the Covid-19 pandemic.
