Muzani said the Gerindra Party was internally hoping and asking Prabowo to be willing to run in 2024.

"We all hope that and that hope has not changed until now," said Muzani at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, May 6, 2021.
Based on one of the survey results, the Gerindra Party is waiting for Prabowo's answer to return to the presidential election.
The results of a survey by the Institute for Education, Research, Economic and Social Information (LP3ES) recorded Prabowo's electability at 16.4 percent.

From the survey results, Prabowo Subianto's name beat other names.
However, Muzani assessed that Prabowo had not yet given an answer to the party because he was currently still focused on his country's duties as Minister of Defense.
