WartaBulukumba - Omicron invaded Indonesia. The number of cases increases, but the odd even rule still applies.

Some time ago, Chairman of Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Mujiyono, asked DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to temporarily abolish the odd-even rule to reduce mass transportation movements that have the potential to spread Covid-19 Omicron.

The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya will continue to apply the odd-even rule during the implementation of Level 2 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

"We will not eliminate it, we will continue to implement it, odd or even," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, quoted by WartaBulukumba.com from PMJ News, Friday, February 4, 2022.

According to Sambodo, the implementation of the odd-even rule can actually reduce the volume of vehicles in a number of areas in the capital.

In addition, the decline was also caused by several companies implementing WFH.

"We can also see that currently the traffic volume can be said to have decreased slightly compared to the previous weeks, especially in odd-even areas," he said.
