WartaBulukumba - Regional heads in South Sulawesi gathered in Makassar. It appears that one of them is the Regent of Bulukumba Muchtar Ali Yusuf.

The regional heads attended the Bureaucratic Reform Coordination and Consultation Forum with the theme “Realizing a Clean, Serving, Accountable and High-Performing South Sulawesi Provincial Government through Improved Implementation of Bureaucratic Reform and Leadership Commitment”.

The forum which was held at the Claro Hotel Makassar presented speakers including the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Sugeng Haryono, Deputy for Bureaucratic Reform of the RB Ministry, Erwan Agus Purwanto, and Keynote Spokesperson for the Deputy for Communication, Information and Apparatus Coordination, Kemenkopulhukam Marsda TNI. Dr. Arif Mustofa.

In his remarks, Arif Mustafa said that Bureaucratic Reform is basically an effort to reform and fundamentally change the system of government administration, especially regarding aspects of providing excellent service.

Bureaucratic Reform, he continued, is the government's effort to change the government administration system for the better, to realize a clean, effective, efficient, transparent, accountable government, and provide excellent public services.

"The government bureaucracy is actually an engine that drives development in order to achieve the goals of the state which ultimately realizes the welfare of the people," he said at the Claro Hotel, Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Every change must always start from the leadership commitment.

"Without the leadership's commitment, there can be no change," he said.
According to him, leaders must be committed to modernizing the bureaucracy, among others by implementing an information system, simplifying complicated procedures, and accelerating services to the public," he said.
