Following up on this commitment, the Regent of Bulukumba Muchtar Ali Yusuf together with several regional heads signed a commitment and commitment to make improvements and reforms in the implementation of bureaucratic reform within the Regional Government.
The statement of commitment was submitted to the Governor of South Sulawesi, who was represented by the Provincial Secretary, Abdul Hayat Gani.

Following are the points of the Joint Commitment Statement:
1. Encouraging the acceleration of bureaucratic reform in all regional units and/or apparatus through commitment to make changes and updates by improving work culture clean, accountable, effective efficient, and excellent service;
2. Improving the planning of programs and activities related to bureaucratic reform through preparation of a bureaucratic reform roadmap which is then accommodated in
local government planning and financial documents (RPJMD, Renstra, RKPD, Renja,
and APBD);
3. Provide resources, in the form of budget, human resources and facilities
necessary infrastructure, in accelerating the implementation of bureaucratic reform in
local government environment;
4. Ensure the implementation of bureaucratic reform in all regional units and/or apparatus run according to the planning document, and encourage the active involvement of the leadership regional units and/or apparatus;
5. Controlling, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of bureaucratic reform in the context of improvements that will be carried out in the coming year.***
