WartaBulukumba - The viral news of a husband and wife couple who were detected positive for Covid-19 but were enjoying a vacation in Batu City, Malang, East Java, made the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno react.
Sandiaga Uno did not accept the couple's actions. According to him, their actions tarnish the tourism sector.
Previously, netizens were surprised by the recognition of tourists who failed to go to Bali because they were detected positive for Covid-19 when they were about to cross. The couple instead diverted their trip to another tourist attraction.

The photo was uploaded on Sunday 6 February 2022 by re-uploading it from Reza Fahd Adrian's Facebook account which was uploaded for the first time on 27 January 2022.
The Facebook post was also uploaded by the Twitter account @prilempril which went viral and was commented on by netizens.
"You know you are positive, you have to self-isolate. Not to mention going to tourist attractions," said Sandiaga Uno, quoted by WartaBulukumba.com from PMJ News on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

"This is a bad example that should not be imitated. Actions like this will actually tarnish our tourism sector and slow down the handling of the pandemic," said Sandiaga Uno.
Sandi stressed that he is ready to process these findings if they are proven so that the economic recovery process is not damaged by the actions of individuals.
"We will not hesitate to take firm action, process it fairly. The economy and employment can immediately rise if there is awareness from the public to maintain strict and disciplined health protocols," he said.
