The Regent of Bulukumba welcomes Ramadhan at the mosque near his home in Tanete

WartaBulukumba - Bulukumba Regent Muchtar Ali Yusuf performed the first Isha and Tarawih prayers at a mosque located a few meters from his residence in Tanete, Bulukumpa Regency.

Andi Utta, the nickname of the Regent of Bulukumba, appreciated the performance of the Jabal Taqwa Mosque management in the mosque construction process which was considered to be making good progress.

Currently, the rehabilitation of the mosque on a large scale is almost complete.

What has not been finished is the rest of the ceiling, window and door frames and painting.

After the Isha prayer, the number one person in Bulukumba was asked by the mosque management to deliver a speech in order to welcome the month of Ramadan.

"Alhamdulillah, we are all still met with a month full of glory, so let's welcome this holy month of Ramadan with joy and worship," he said at the Jabal Taqwa Mosque, Saturday, April 2, 2022.

Although still in the Covid-19 outbreak situation, he continued, the implementation of the tarwih prayer was no longer as strict as in previous years.
